Winter By Vivaldi – Tempus Quartet

Tempus Quartet performs Winter from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. Tempus Quartet is a project made up of young professional mexican musicians. It IS nicer to see young talented musicians performing Vivaldi – than middle-aged men with alcohol problems, anxiously rubbing their violins. Members of the group are Tabata Sabrina Samayoa, Jessica Bautista, Paola Zozaya, Jesús Barragán, Edgar Contreras and Jupiter Bautista.

KIRUNA MAY 2025: The Four Seasons is a group of four violin concerti by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, each of which gives musical expression to a season of the year. These were composed around 1718–1720, when Vivaldi was the court chapel master in Mantua.

Antonio Lucio Vivaldi, (4 March 1678 – 28 July 1741), was an Italian composer, virtuoso violinist, impresario of Baroque music and Roman Catholic priest. Regarded as one of the greatest Baroque composers,

Tempus Quartet is a project made up of professional mexican musicians who are characterized by fusions of various musical styles to achieve more current and fresh sounds, among them the academic, Pop, Mexican music and Rock. This musical and visual production is composed of 1 violinist, 2 cellists, 1 electric guitar, a singer and 1 drummer supported by electronic sequences. They have performed in more than 10 states across Mexico.

Members of the group are Tabata Sabrina Samayoa (cello), Jessica Bautista (violin), Paola Zozaya (violin), Jesús Barragán (drums), Edgar Contreras (guitar) and Jupiter Bautista (cello). Their music videos are very well-produced and dynamic, and they do Vivaldi’s music justice. And it can’t be helped. It’s nicer to see young talented musicians performing Vivaldi – than middle-aged men with alcohol problems, anxiously rubbing their violins.
