KHARTOUM APRIL 30: Today, I speak about my country — Sudan.
About the news circulating, and those spreading division, claiming that the army is attacking its own people. Some even speak against General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan — but they forget the truth.

Personally, I hold deep respect and appreciation for him.
He could’ve walked away. He could’ve sold out the cause and watched Sudan burn forever.
But he didn’t.

He stepped forward — despite his personal grief and loss — as a fighter, as an honorable leader, to restore safety to our nation and drive out the militias who have violated our rights, our dignity, and our very humanity.

We’ve witnessed horrors beyond belief:
Murder, rape, terror, destruction — with no mercy for women, children, or the helpless.
As if those who commit these crimes know no God, and respect no boundaries of faith or morality.

As for the videos meant to tarnish the army’s image – we all know these were staged by Hemedti’s forces, wearing army uniforms to deceive the public. Many honorable soldiers refused to fire on their own people and for that, they were killed or falsely accused.

So I ask:

If the RSF truly seeks justice and peace…

  • Why did they kill innocent civilians?
  • Why destroy homes?
  • Why violate women?
  • Why burn down mosques?
  • Why murder children?

Why… and how… could they commit such cruelty?
Hasbi Allah wa ni‘ma al-wakil – God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.

Why does RSF act as if the legal concept of Crimes Against Humanity does not exist?
What kind of country do they expect to rule – after they’ve shattered its very soul?

Anyone spreading content that sows division in the army – ask yourself: Who are they really working for?

As for Burhan — he never said who would rule Sudan.
But he swore, with honor, that he would bring safety back to our homeland.

Meanwhile, those who scream for power…
Even yesterday, they were killing children, women, and the defenseless.

This is not strength. It is cowardice.
