Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warned on Saturday of a “crushing response” to Israel and the US following recent attacks on Iranian targets. Safavi claimed that a strategic plan is in place, causing a delay in execution but not its cancellation.
TEHERAN MARCH 30: A top Iranian official has issued a dire warning, signaling an imminent attack on Israel. Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, a senior military adviser to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, stated that Iran remains committed to launching “Operation True Promise III.”
Safavi claimed that a strategic plan is in place, causing a delay in execution but not its cancellation. He also lashed out at U.S. President Donald Trump, calling him “insane and erratic” for his support of Israel.
Iran’s supreme leader vowed retaliation on Saturday for attacks by Israel, as an Israeli military official confirmed naval commandos seized a suspected Hezbollah operative in a raid in Lebanon.
“The enemies, both the USA and the Zionist regime, should know that they will definitely receive a tooth-breaking response,” Khamenei said, referring to Iran-aligned groups including those in Yemen and Syria.
