Trump/Netanyahu Big Announcement On Gaza

The White House released a 20-point peace plan for Gaza. One item on the list was that Hamas must release Israeli hostages, dead or alive, within 72 hours. “This is possibly one of the greatest days ever in the history of civilization,” Trump said. Regional and international forces will be responsible for security and train Palestinian police.

WASHINGTON SEPTEMBER 29: Watch coverage as President Donald Trump meets with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House to try and turn rising hopes into a deal to end to Israel’s offensive in Gaza and free hostages still held in the devastated Palestinian enclave.

Netanyahu’s meeting with Trump comes as Israel faces mounting global isolation and outrage, with many Western powers embracing Palestinian statehood in defiance of the U.S. and its close ally, while Israeli forces push ahead with a deadly assault on famine-stricken Gaza City.

Just before the two leaders met with the press, the White House released a 20-point peace plan for Gaza. One item on the list was that Hamas must release Israeli hostages, dead or alive, within 72 hours. Another item was that the Israeli military must withdraw according to a timetable set by the IDF, the US and other parties.

Trump’s Peace Plan

  • An interim technocratic and apolitical government will govern Gaza and Israel will not annex the area.
  • The Gaza Strip will be rebuilt and no one will be forced to leave Gaza. Those who want to leave the area will be allowed to leave, but are also free to return.
  • In exchange, Israel will release 250 prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment and 1,700 Palestinians who were captured after the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7, 2023.
  • Pending the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops, all military operations will be suspended.
  • Once the agreement is approved, emergency aid will flow into Gaza. It will be distributed by the UN and the Red Cross – without interference from either Israel or Hamas.
  • Hamas members who want peace will be given amnesty, while others will be offered safe travel out of Gaza to countries willing to accept them.
  • Regional and international forces will be responsible for security and train Palestinian police.
  • The United States will facilitate dialogue between Palestinians and Israelis.

“This is possibly one of the greatest days ever in the history of civilization,” Trump said. At the press conference, he says that the Israeli prime minister has agreed to the 20-point plan. Now only Hamas remains. If the group were to say no to the proposal, Israel has Donald Trump’s full support to destroy Hamas.
